A Southern California native, Brian Padrick enjoyed growing up in the Conejo Valley and went to Oak Park High School. Although both his parents worked, they still struggled financially from time to time, and Brian’s father continued to work into his 70s instead of enjoying a comfortable retirement. When his father told Brian to save and invest to have an enjoyable life, he took the advice to heart and it shaped his future.
After graduating cum laude from UCLA in 1993, Brian quickly took an interest in investing. He interned at a stock trading firm in Beverly Hills and worked at two publicly owned companies. Then came an 8-year career at a private high technology company, including its successful IPO in 1996. The company was acquired by a French conglomerate in 1999, providing Brian an opportunity to work in Paris for over a year.
Brian became a financial advisor for the large brokerage firm Edward Jones in 2003. Sound investment principles and putting investors first have always been of paramount importance, and Brian built a branch in Southern California that consistently earned awards for growth and customer service. With a process in place from the beginning and a long-held belief that investing and planning go hand in hand, he earned the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
In 2012, Brian made the move to LPL Financial and Cornerstone Wealth Management, where it became possible to take investor goals, objectives and integrity to a higher level and serve as a fiduciary. Today, he enjoys helping others plan for and live out a comfortable retirement by providing objective financial guidance.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys doing yoga, swimming, cycling and hiking. He also has a passion for charitable causes and works with several in the community and across the country.
